Goal: 
Educate the community of the value of high quality early childhood services as an economic development tool and as a support for community sustainability.  ECCBC community forums are a venue for community dialogue - for ECECBC to share information with the community and to elicit feedback from the community.  

Who can participate:
Anyone in the community can participate.  Community forums are for everyone.  Contact ECCBC Director, Bobbie Watson on email watsonb@bouldercolorado.gov or telephone 303-441-3181 to enquire about hosting a community forum for your organization or group of individuals.

Proposed timeline: 
Community forums began in 2005 with the first forum taking place in Longmont at the City of Longmont, Bright E.Y.E.S. Committee meeting.  Other community forums have been taken place with:  an early childhoood funding group based in Denver;  Restoring the Soul, a faith based community organization; Boulder County school district staff; and more.  Community forums will continue through 2008.
