Goal:
Convene a group of local ECE financing experts to use the cost modeling recommendations from the Human Services Policy Center (October 2007) as well as other information to estimate the cost of a comprehensive early care and education system in Boulder County and to recommend sustainable financing strategies.

Membership:
A group of local finance experts from Boulder County as well as from Colorado are being identified to serve on the Finance Task Force.  These individuals have expertise in:  early care and education costs, local economic conditions and future projections, state economic conditions and forecasts, as well as financing strategies.

Proposed timeline:
It is anticipated that the Finance Task Force will begin meeting during the first quarter of 2008.
