ECCBC is working in concert with several statewide initiatives, including the Governor's P-20 Education Coordinating Council (in particular the P-3 subcommittee)

The Early Childhood State Systems Team Early childhood systems building efforts are gaining momentum nationwide as more and more legislators, policymakers and the general public come to the realization that the earlier in a child's life that attention is paid to early literacy, cognition, language development, physical well-being and motor development, social and emotional development, parent engagement, the fewer public and private resources are required later on in a child's life.
