ECCBC School Readiness Quality Improvement Project

ECCBC participates in the Colorado Department of Human Services Colorado School Readiness Quality Improvement Program by sponsoring a School Readiness project for Boulder County. The project seeks to support the diverse needs of the children, families and early care and education providers especially in "at risk" communities within Boulder County and to enable all children, families and early care and education providers and schools to be more prepared/ready for school.

2007-08 SCHOOL READINESS PROJECT WORKPLAN

The 2007-08 school readiness work plan is part of a 3-year program that commenced on July 1, 2006. This project includes six childcare centers and homes that will participate in 3 annual quality ratings conducted by Qualistar Early Learning. ECCBC provides funding and technical assistance for quality improvement and ratings improvement.

Boulder County Public Health, Child Health Promotion and The Mental Health Center Serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties, Child Development Team are key partners in the project that provides child care providers with resources and support needed to excel in quality improvement.
